I'm assuming that, since I received no replies to my question, it must be impossible to copy more than one file at a time to the camera roll. I rechecked and I actually have more than 1800 JPEG files to get onto the camera roll -- I am not going to do that many one-at-a-time! I don't know whether to be more irritated with Apple for not providing a batch mechanism or with the app developers for restricting their input to the camera roll (unless that's an Apple requirement).
